WeaselWare is an operating system created by Fritz Glade. It's being used to control all the machines in both the 2016 and Evergreen versions of the Popgoes Pizzeria.
Usage[]
WeaselWare is being used to connect all the machines in The Popgoes Pizzeria, including the animatronics. Thanks to that, Fritz is being able to work on everything without even leaving his stage. The WeaselWare is connected to the animatronics through a module called "Heart". The "Heart" is what connects the animatronics to WeaselWare and gives them commands and updates.
During the nights, Strings has partial access to the WeaselWare, allowing him to check the cameras, shut down the rooms with 3D Printers, and heat the ventilation.
At first, WeaselWare was connected to all the animatronics, including Stone the Crow. At some point in time, Stone was disconnected from the system.

According to cancelled POPGOES: Heart of Stone comic, Stone was disconnected from the WeaselWare because of several tries to hack the WeaselWare through Stone's mechanisms, as he was left outside of the building during the night. As for now, it's unknown why was he disconnected.

Originally, this system was created to track investigations of DNA, Fritz used it to find his brother - Simon Fitzgerald. He stopped using it, as it was illegal, but he later reused and reprogrammed the whole system, when creating a pizzeria, as "WeaselWare".
In the Grave Ending, Simon is able to manipulate Fritz into giving him access to the system under the guise that he could bring back his daughter. Upon gaining access, he released himself from his chains and printed the Blackrabbit, who immediately was possessed by Bonnie Glade and murdered Fritz. Simon then went into the pizzeria and approached Strings, causing him to have a "panic attack" and shut down.
POPGOES 2: The Dead Forest[]
Simon ripped out the "Hearts" of all the animatronics and decided to use them for his own experiments. Simon created the Epitomes, monsterous animatronics he could control via the "Hearts" of the original animatronics. WeaselWare was going to be used and modified by Simon in POPGOES 2: The Dead Forest. The end of the game would result in Strings shuting down WeaselWare and stopping Simon for good.

- In POPGOES 2015, the original name of an operating system was "WheresWake". In the old version of the story, Wake Fitzgerald was the real name of the Purple Man. Both names, "WheresWake" and "WeaselWare" have the same acronym - WW.
