Saffron Silverleaf the Squirrel, better known as just Saffron, is a guitarist at The Popgoes Pizzeria. She is one of the main threats in the gameplay of POPGOES Evergreen and acts as an NPC in POPGOES: The Dead Forest arcade game.

Saffron is based on a red squirrel. Her fur has a reddish-brown colour. She has a black nose and dark spots on her muzzle that act like whiskers. Her arms has hot pink wristband on each of her arms. She also wearing a black necklace with a hot pink treble clef. She has hot pink eyes and a black with hot pink stripes dress, underneath it was a sporty short on it with a actual squirrel tail. She has dark brown hair that is swept all the way to the right side of her head.

Saffron appears to be a red squirrel with dark brown hair, wearing a hot pink dress and necklace. Her eyes are black with hot pink pupils.
Behaviour[]
POPGOES Evergreen[]
Saffron's mechanic is changed in POPGOES Evergreen, as instead of starting on the Show Stage she instead starts in the Photo Room along with Sara. Saffron will attempt to pull the automatic door open in order to take your phone, making a loud jamming sound in the process. Similar to Sara's mechanic, once a portion of the door is open it is unable to be closed.
In order to stop Saffron from opening the door you must push the Room Shutdown Button on the Photo Room in order to reset her, similar to Popgoes. It is important that you make sure Popgoes is dealt with before moving onto Saffron, as the Room Shutdown has a cooldown timer and could lead to him printing a part. Failure to stop Saffron from opening the door six times will result in her taking your phone.[1]

- Saffron and Sara's family name “Silverleaf” may be a reference to the scrapped character of Silver the Squirrel.
- Kane Carter said that Saffron's design is "spiky, aggressive, and punky" to contrast with her sister.[2]
