Description[]
- "Saffron the Squirrel is one of the Squirrel Sisters, and animatronic duo based on a grey squirrel and a red squirrel. Saffron is the counterpart to Sara.
- Saffron plays a normal guitar, while her twin sister plays bass guitar. Saffron's accent colour is pink, like her guitar.
- Saffron the Squirrel is a replacement for Fritz Glade's 'dreamcatcher' designed to destroy nightmares of Toy Freddy.
- During POPGOES 1, Saffron acts as the same entity as Sara, with the goal of stealing your phone."

Appearance[]
As her name suggests, Saffron is based on a red squirrel. Her fur is a reddish brown color that is darker in some areas like her tail. She has a pink nose, and dark spots on her muzzle to represent whiskers. Saffron has hot pink eyes and hip piece as well, representing her power color. She has dark brown hair that is swept completely to the right side of her head.
Behavior[]
During the day[]
During the day, Saffron is the guitarist of The Popgoes Pizzeria. Her programming is exactly the same as Sara's, implying that they complete similar tasks. Originally, Fritz planned to program the squirrel sisters to turn the heaters in the vents on and off but decided against it.
Gameplay[]
Saffron becomes active on the Second Night. She starts off on the stage along with Popgoes and Sara. Saffron will make her way toward the player with Sara at her side. The player must turn on the lasers in the vent that she is in to slow her progress. If Strings fails to hold the pair off, Sara will steal his phone, leading to Panic boost and eventually a jumpscare.
Trivia[]
- There was originally gonna be a third squirrel sister of Saffron and Sara called "Silver the Squirrel" in which it just a squirrel with the fur color being silver and the nose, eye color and pelvis of the squirrel being orange color, similar to Manora and Morse
