POPGOES and The Machinist is an expansion to POPGOES Arcade. It was officially revealed October 26th, 2021 and was released on July 1st, 2022. It is the first POPGOES game to be fully paid.
Description[]
“ | POPGOES and The Machinist is a "sequel" to POPGOES: The Dead Forest, which is the name of the arcade game that you play in POPGOES Arcade.
If you pay for the "premium" upgrade to POPGOES Arcade, you will be able to play POPGOES and The Machinist once you attain 100% completion in the main game. It'll be a direct continuation of your journey. POPGOES and The Machinist is about half of the size of the current main game. If you consider POPGOES Arcade to be split into two parts, one where you fight the minibosses, and then one where you fight the dead minibosses, then you can sort of expect PATM to be a "third part" in Popgoes' adventure. Our development team has been in a bit of a slump for the past few months, but lately Emil has been back to work and we've been working exclusively on POPGOES and The Machinist. A LOT of it has been finished, it's just mostly programming left now. |

Development[]
Development of PaTM began when the Fazbear Fanverse Initiative began. When Kane and the team were wondering how they could make it up to players who had to pay, to purchase the games on consoles/phones. The idea for a DLC expansion was decided on. For PC players who didnt have to pay, they decided on making it an optional DLC purchase for when the game releases on Steam. It was planned to be released on December 2021, but when the time came, it didn't release for seemingly unknown reasons.
