POPGOES: Evolution is a cancelled comic made for POPGOES Reprinted. It was supposed to release along with POPGOES 2 but it was cancelled when the project changed into POPGOES Reprinted and the team decided to create in-game comic book styled cutscenes. The comic was being written by Kane Carter and drawn by TigeraRainbowra. Only a single page was finished and revealed on Kane Carter's twitter on 8th December 2017.

POPGOES: Evolution was supposed to explain off-screen information for both POPGOES and POPGOES 2, which includes the details behind Fritz's death and Simon's story after he was freed. The only finished page shows Simon convincing Fritz to give him access to the WeaselWare, which will eventually allow him to print the Blackrabbit and kill Fritz in the process.
The comic was supposed to focus on Simon and his Evolution Module. It would show the events happening before the gameplay of POPGOES 2, and events happening between the nights, when Strings was turned off.
