The Popgoes Pizzeria Wikia

myPOPGOES (initially revealed as Toy) is an interactive teaser to POPGOES Evergreen. The classic "free version" was initially released on Game Jolt on April 3rd, 2023, as a late April Fools' joke. However, it was later announced that a paid, full version would release on Steam on August 1st of 2024.

Description[]

myPOPGOES is an entirely hand-drawn teaser for the POPGOES series. It was created in less than a month and features visuals from Sian Mewburn (Turntail, official FNAF artist) and Emil Macko (creator of Five Nights at Candy's).

Plot[]

In April of 2023, you play as Bonnie Glade going to get a toolbox from the attic for her father. While searching for it you uncover an old chest. Inside is a Chica plush from your Mom, a 3D Printed mask of Toy Bonnie you made, and an old cardboard box. This then leads to a flashback in the year 2008, where it is Bonnie's 10th birthday unwrapping a gift from her dad. In the card he notes how he is sorry he can't be with her, and that he hopes his present will suffice as an apology.

Inside the box is a small toy version of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, with a transparent LCD screen and three buttons in the front. There is also a note explaining how Fritz made this game for her because it was around the time he started going to Freddy's as a child. He explains that he based it around the character she created, Popgoes, and how you have to care for him for a total of five days.

After completing the game you flash forward back to 2023, where you hear Fritz calling from downstairs asking if you were able to find the toolbox. You respond by turning your back to the chest and upon returning to it, you see Bonnie's body sticking out of it.

The main gameplay takes place over the course of 5 "days" within the toy. Bonnie Glade has to take care of Popgoes' three needs: food, drink, and music. If even one of these bars runs out, Popgoes passes out with a thought bubble of which bar he ran out of.

Popgoes starts in the middle of the room, which is where he needs to be to fill up the music bar. Holding left allows Popgoes to go to the soda machine which will fill up the drink bar. Holding right activates the oven which will create pizzas, the amount of which are visible on the table. In the middle of the room, pressing up allows Popgoes to eat one pizza, restoring a sizable chunk of his food bar.

The player starts at 12:00PM and has to survive till 6:00PM. The three bars decline faster with each day, so the player has to manage their resources and movement increasingly skillfully.

After the main game, the player can play an "endless day." As its name implies, it's purely to compete who can last the longest, the scores of which are showcased on the game's GameJolt page (if the player logged in with their GameJolt account beforehand).[1]

  • The design of the myPOPGOES Handheld was based off of Pixel Chix, a toy plastic building with a transparent LCD display inside it.[7]
  • The game of myPOPGOES was based off a fangame called "My Pet Popgoes", created in 2021 by Codeman2468.[8]
  • myPOPGOES was originally going to be a non-canon spinoff with a Japanese aesthetic.[9]
    • The Japanese Text under the original logo translates to "weasel pet".

If it wasn't obvious, this sticker, as well as pretty much ALL of the stickers in myPOPGOES, is not canon and it has no relevance to the story of the CPU. Looks cool though." (April 22, 2023)

  7. Kane Carter: "Firstly, myPOPGOES is a parody of Pixel Chix, not Tamagotchi."
