The Lux Animatronics are a group of abstract hallucinations created by Simon in the Grave Ending of the 2016 iteration of POPGOES.

Description[]

During The events of POPGOES, Simon begins to desire freedom and grows jealous of how Fritz has given Strings more than him. Simon begins to plan out a way to manipulate Fritz into fully connecting him to Weaselware, but decides to practise his persuasion on Strings himself first.
He does this by sending visual Cues into Strings' processor, which causes Strings to "hallucinate" visions of Simon in the camera Feed, once Strings obeys the visions. Simon demonstrates his power by presenting a fake scenario of the pizzeria's other robots in a godly new form, capable of helping Fritz further. These godly variations are called "Luxes".

Appearance[]

Lux Animatronics are the counterparts of The Popgoes Pizzeria animatronics and Blackrabbit. They are almost identical to the original animatronics, the only difference is they are completely white except for their joints which glow with their Power Color. Except for Whiterabbit, each of them has an angered expression.

Behaviour[]

Lux Animatronics, by the idea, are supposed to defeat Fritz's nightmares of Toy Animatronics. While the original idea of the scarecrows failed, Simon suggested that if he controlled the animatronics, he would be able to help him. Luxes appear to have angered expression and threatening poses to show they are capable of fulfilling this goal.

In reality, the true reason of Simon showing the Luxes was to gain Strings' trust.

Finding Simon's encounter for the second time will lead to an appearance of Lux Animatronic from this night's minigame.

Story[]

Lux Animatronics were created as an idea by Simon. If Strings found his hallucination during the night, he would be introduced to one of the Lux Animatronics in a minigame defeating their respective Toy Animatronic counterpart.

During the Sixth Night minigame, the Blackrabbit appears, to be later changed into her Lux counterpart - Whiterabbit, and kills Fritz. It's implied that during this minigame, Blackrabbit kills Fritz in the real world.

Trivia[]

  • The prefix "Lux" is a Latin word for "Light".
  • The Lux animatronics were originally inspired by a special type of Bakugan with no attribute, called "The White Ones" or Clear Bakugan.
  • The first version of POPGOES had an error, where Lux Sara screen on the Car Park was mistakenly replaced with Lux Saffron's one.
    • Along with that, the screen of Whiterabbit in the Back View was zoomed in.
  • Whiterabbit is oddly similar to the FNAF World enemy with the same name, although Kane Carter confirmed he was created before the game came out.
  • In POPGOES Reprinted, the Lux Animatronics were original going to have angry expressions on their faces.
  • The Lux Animatronics, along with Gem Stone and Grave Stone, are confirmed not to appear in POPGOES Evergreen.
