Fredbear is the entertainer and the title mascot used in Fredbear's Family Diner and a predecessor of Golden Freddy and Freddy Fazbear.
Description[]
“ | Fredbear was one of the main mascots of Fredbear's Family Diner, a restaurant from the late 1970s. Fredbear shared his stage with The Puppet at this location. Fredbear is a "spring lock" animatronic, which means that he can either be controlled by a robotic endoskeleton, or manually worn and operated by a human performer. When a person is controlling Fredbear, it is possible for him to also operate the Puppet with his fingers. Fredbear and his counterpart Bonnie (retroactively named "Spring Bonnie") were also used in locations long after Fredbear's Family Diner closed down.
